Children Deserve a Life Free From the Fear of Childhood Hunger

In Florida, thousands of children face food insecurity. Feeding Dreams provides weekend backpack meals to at-risk students every Friday, ensuring they have food until Monday and can focus on their education without the burden of hunger.

The Mission of Feeding Dreams

The mission of Feeding Dreams is to combat childhood hunger and malnutrition that affect one in five children in Florida. Through grants, fundraising efforts, and school partnerships, we deliver highly nutritious meals to chronically hungry children. Helping to break the cycle of poverty, these meals lead to better health and educational performance, laying the foundation for a healthier, self-sufficient future for our children.

“That food got me through the weekend where I felt the absence of my parents while they were at work. It really helped.”
– Juliana Noreus, former Power Pack student
“Thank you for the continued donations. As a school, we are so grateful to be able to provide these extra supports to our students. When we first introduced Power Packs to the students, they showcased wide eyes and excitement. Due to the fluid nature of the program, we were able to frequently add new students to the list as they arrived at our school. It has been our pleasure to be a Power Pack Program distribution location this year. Thank you for your ongoing support and management!”
